GO BEYOND THE SCALE

Your Fitness Journey Is More Than Just Your Weight.

Have you ever worked hard at the gym but wondered whether you're making progress?

Maybe your weight hasn't changed, even though your clothes fit differently. Perhaps you're feeling stronger, but you're not sure how much you've improved.

Or maybe you're just starting your fitness journey and don't know what goals to set.

That's where a fitness assessment can help.

Your weight alone doesn't tell the full story.

Changes in strength, endurance, body composition, and other fitness measurements can provide a broader picture of how your body is responding to your training and daily habits.

At Drive Personal Fitness, we use objective measurements and professional guidance to help you better understand your starting point and progress.

With the Right Information, You Can:

  • Understand your current fitness level.
  • Establish a baseline before starting a program.
  • Identify areas that may need more attention.
  • Track changes in body composition.
  • Measure improvements in strength and endurance.
  • Set more realistic and meaningful goals.
  • Make informed adjustments to your exercise and nutrition approach.
  • Recognize achievements that the scale alone might not show.

Progress isn't always obvious. Sometimes, you need a better way to see it.

UNDERSTAND YOUR BODY

A Closer Look at the Numbers That Matter to Your Fitness.

Our Body Assessment & Analysis service offers a range of measurements and fitness tests to help you understand different aspects of your physical condition.

Together, these insights can provide a clearer picture of your current fitness and how it changes over time.

1. Body Weight & Measurements

See Your Progress Beyond the Scale.

Body weight and circumference measurements can help you track physical changes as you work toward your health and fitness goals.

These measurements are particularly helpful when monitoring changes associated with exercise and nutrition.

What You'll Learn:

  • Your current body weight.
  • Baseline body measurements.
  • How selected measurements change over time.
  • Information that can help you evaluate your progress.

2. Body Fat Percentage & Body Composition

Get a Better Understanding of Your Body Composition.

Your total weight doesn't tell you how much of your body consists of fat versus other tissues.

Using skinfold measurements, we can estimate your body fat percentage and track changes over time.

This can provide additional information for clients focused on body composition, strength training, or healthy weight management.

What You'll Learn:

  • Your estimated body fat percentage.
  • How your estimated body composition changes.
  • Whether trends are consistent with your fitness goals.

Skinfold measurements provide estimates and can vary depending on technique and testing conditions.

3. Heart Rate & Cardiovascular Information

Understand Your Training Intensity.

Heart-rate information can be useful when planning and evaluating cardiovascular exercise.

Our assessments can include maximum and target heart-rate information to help you better understand exercise intensity and training zones.

What You'll Learn:

  • Estimated maximum heart-rate information.
  • Target heart-rate ranges for exercise.
  • How these ranges may relate to your cardiovascular training goals.

4. Blood Pressure & Oxygen Levels

Get a Snapshot of Selected Health Measurements.

Blood pressure and oxygen saturation readings can provide useful information about your body at the time of assessment.

These measurements may also help identify readings that warrant follow-up with a healthcare professional.

What You'll Learn:

  • Your blood pressure reading.
  • Your oxygen saturation reading.
  • How these results compare with commonly used reference ranges.

These readings are for informational purposes and are not a substitute for medical evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment.

5. BMI & Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR)

Understand Additional Measures Related to Body Size and Energy Needs.

Body Mass Index (BMI) and Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) are commonly used estimates that can provide context for your wellness and fitness planning.

BMI — Body Mass Index
A calculation based on height and weight. It can provide general screening information but doesn't directly measure body fat or account for individual muscle mass.

BMR — Basal Metabolic Rate
An estimate of the energy your body needs at rest to maintain essential functions.

These values can be useful starting points when discussing weight management, nutrition, and fitness goals.

6. Strength & Endurance Testing

Find Out What Your Body Can Do Today.

Fitness isn't just about appearance. Your ability to move, lift, and sustain physical activity matters too.

Strength and endurance assessments can help establish your current physical capabilities and provide useful benchmarks for future progress.

What You'll Learn:

  • Your current performance on selected fitness exercises.
  • Areas of strength and opportunities for improvement.
  • Changes in physical performance over time.
  • Information that may help guide exercise programming.

Every assessment is an opportunity to learn more about your body and train with greater purpose.

HAVE QUESTIONS?

Everything You Need to Know About Our Fitness Assessments.

What is a body assessment?

A body assessment is a collection of measurements and fitness tests that help establish a snapshot of your current physical condition. Depending on the assessments performed, it may include body measurements, estimated body composition, cardiovascular information, and strength or endurance testing.

Do I need to be a personal training client to book an assessment?

If you're interested in an assessment but aren't currently a training client, reach out to our team. We can explain your available options and help you schedule the appropriate service.

How often should I have a body assessment?

Our current assessment approach uses approximately four-week intervals for progress tracking. The frequency that's useful for you depends on your goals, program, and the measurements you're monitoring.

What should I wear to my assessment?

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely is generally appropriate. Some measurements may require specific clothing or preparation, so our team can provide instructions before your appointment.

Will my assessment tell me exactly how much body fat I have?

Skinfold testing provides an estimate of body fat percentage rather than an exact measurement. Results can vary based on testing technique and other factors, so consistent methods are especially important when comparing results over time.

Can an assessment help with my weight loss goals?

Yes. Tracking body measurements and estimated body composition can provide additional context alongside your body weight, fitness performance, and other factors.

An assessment doesn't guarantee weight loss, but it can help you monitor trends and make informed decisions.

Is this a medical examination?

No. Our Body Assessment & Analysis service is a fitness assessment, not a medical examination or diagnostic service.

Measurements such as blood pressure and oxygen saturation are informational and should not replace professional medical care.

How much does a body assessment cost?

Our current assessment options are:

  • One Assessment: $35
  • Three Assessments: $90
  • Six Assessments: $150
What happens after my assessment?

Your coach can help you understand the results and discuss how the information relates to your goals.

If you want additional support, we can also explore appropriate personal training or nutrition coaching options.

YOUR PROGRESS STARTS WITH UNDERSTANDING

Ready to Discover Where You Stand?

You can't always see progress in the mirror or measure it on a bathroom scale.

But with the right information, you can gain a clearer understanding of your fitness, recognize meaningful changes, and make better-informed decisions about your next steps.

Whether you're just getting started or ready to check your progress, we're here to help.

Know your starting point. Understand your progress. Move forward with confidence.

Individual body assessments start at just $35.
